I like this haiku a lot, the juxtaposition of the tragic with the very ordinary.

Thanks James! I was actually watching footage from the area. Some of the tornadoes even had three heads. The number of natural disasters that have occurred in this year alone is startling. It seems like there is an earthquake at least every two months now. Did you hear about the one in Indonesia recently?

Yeah – this is a beautiful poem Laurence. Reminds me of the Michael Dylan Welch one:
after the quake
the weathervane
pointing to the earth
Which we still are yet to publish sometime.
