    Very nice! A couple of surprizes in the last line: the word “her” and the word “tuxedo”.

    I think, though, that you might consider moving “in” from the end of the second line to the beginning of the third, because each line–each “language unit”–in a good haiku usually has integrity of its own….in this case the language unit is “the groom radiant” and not “the groom radiant in”.

    Ha! That is funny cause that was the edit I had in my notes to suggest to Robert and then I forgot to, and didn’t bother cause the poem is great either way. But yeah, I see your point James and agree – I might suggest it to Robert anyway.

    I see the point, and agree it stands well that way. I let that stand to heighten the surprise, but now that you have presented it s a “language unit,” I see how the form doesn’t detract from the strong surprise of “her” and “tuxedo.” thanks for the discussion.
