A little history behind this poem – we received it as a submission in January – and then promptly lost it. Then, just last week, when I was going through old emails as I am sometimes want to do, we rediscovered it and emailed Catherine to apologise and ask if she was still open to us publishing the poem, particularly since we loved it so much. Luckily she said yes, so here we are. Thanks Catherine, we are very happy to finally publish this poem.
