The poem is subtly structured with a deep emotional undercurrent. The second line has the most weight.

Thirded. This poem is just stunning. I loved it when I first read it, and I love it even more now. And I agree with Chen-ou, the poetry is made in the second line (and overflows through the whole poem).

Thanks guys! Sorry it took me awhile to respond. I was visiting family in Florida for Thanksgiving break and had no real internet access. These are some stellar readings. I’m really glad that the structure worked here as I was trying to experiment a little with the placement of the pivot point.
