Beautiful poem Chen-ou. Reminds me of the Issa one “A world of dew” but you have turned it on its head (the dry rather than the wet). Lovely work.

Dick, thanks for your discerning eye for my poem. When composing this haiku, I employed a Japanese literary device, honkadori, and tried to make it two-axis. Glad it worked.

I found time to read the story, Chen-ou…it’s fascinating and thought-provoking. And I do like your treatment here…”and yet” is heavy with possibilities. Fine work indeed!
