Thank you Laryalee.
I have debated dropping the word “but” in this poem, incidentally.
This is a big year for Mexican celebrations…200 anniversary of the beginning of
the war of independence (from Spain) and anniversary of beginning of the Mexican revolution (civil war).
There are always lots of celebrations down here, something like 60 or 70 official fiesta days each year, but this year should really be something far beyond the normal.
I live here in the central Mountains of tropical Mexico.
