Hints: the police employed batons to demonstrate heir will while protestors and delegates used mics to convey their feelings and thoughts.

Well, that helps a little. I associate batons (conducting sticks) and microphones with music. I associate megaphones with protestors…on the move systems, rather than microphones. Thanks, though, for your clarification.

I enjoyed the article, and the definitions, which make sense to me. Also enjoyed your haiku …it’s too bad the batons had to be used. Climate change will require cooperation, but I wonder if that is possible, sigh…
